A: Minimum age for any renter or additional driver is 21 years old. Driver’s 21-24 years old must have full coverage automobile insurance that transfers to the rental vehicle. Driver's that are 21-24 are also subject to an underage driver fee of $15/day before taxes.
A: Please contact your nearest Capital Auto rentals to discuss rental qualifications.
A: Yes, at the time of rental a charge on your credit/debit card will be processed for the total amount of the rental plus a $100 refundable security deposit.
A: We offer discounted monthly rates, rental agreements must be re-written every 30 days due to insurance regulations and vehicle maintenance.
A: Unfortunately at this time, Capital Auto Rentals does not offer one way rentals.
A: We offer many different specials that change constantly, please check with your local office to see what specials we are offering today!
A: Capital Auto rentals offers rates that are valid for travel east of the Mississippi River. C.A.R. vehicles are not allowed to travel to Mexico or Canada. Please check with your local office if you plan on travelling west of the Mississippi for a price quote.
A: Some locations do offer cash rentals, with qualification. Please contact your local office to find out if they offer and what the policies and procedures are for cash qualification.
A: Rates are based on a 24 – hour period. All of our locations offer daily, weekly and monthly rates.
A: In case of an accident, first call the police (911) to notify and file report. Next, contact your closest Capital Auto Rentals facility. Third, contact your automobile insurance company to file a claim for damage. If you are renting with a major credit card, you may want to check with their customer service department to see if coverage is provided.
A: If you need to keep the vehicle longer than originally expected, it is necessary to contact the location the vehicle was rented from to extend. This must be done prior to the expiration of the current rental agreement.
A: Yes…If you have lost an item, please contact the location you rented from as soon as possible. We will make our best effort to locate your lost item.
